Our competitions use many different formats, from Medal (strokeplay), stableford, singles, pairs, matchplay and some more exotic systems for fun competitions. We play matches against other societies and we have a team competing in the Bangkok Golf League.
We have players ranging from single figure handicaps through to newcomers on maximum and we do try to help develop newcomers into sound golfers who enjoy the game, but understand the rules and ethics.
BCGS is open to all British Club members and joining costs 300 Baht per year, payable in March through BC monthly dues. We charge 100 Baht match fee each time you play, going towards prizes on the day.

Illegal Drivers:
The R&A have produced a list of non conforming drivers, the full text of which is available on their website. The BCGS stand on this is that it is up to each player to conform to the rules. We will not be policing this, but expect all members to do the honourable thing and ensure that they play with a conforming club.
